How to choose private b-school in India through?

Recently result of MAT MAY 2015 is declared on 23rd May. (MAT 2015 Result ). Most of the student confused where to take admission. For a top b-school one need to score 650+ composite.
Some of the most reputed colleges need 700+ score.

But the question circulates in every candidates mind - is MBA from private b-school valuable?

Private b-school are charging fees between 7-13 lacs for 2-year MBA or PGDM. So every student accept a good salary after 2-years. But what is real scenario in case of these institute. I have my friends pass out from a so called ranked b-school from Mumbai, but he only settle a job for BPO for 24000 salary a month. His total investment is almost 8 lacs.
So students need to consider some points before selecting private b-school through MAT:

1. Do consult or try to contact pass out students and get the details about placement and internship.
2. Check the industry linkage of the institute as in case of MBA or PGDM, it is very impotant for placement.
3. Check highest and lowest salary offered in campus. Most of the institute give their average salary only. For example if average salary is 5 lacs then may be highest will only 6 lacs and lowest is 4 lacs.
4. Don't get hurry to admission because if a student manage 95-100 percentile in MAT  without prior preparation(most engineers can do it with good mathematical skill), he/she easily get 95-100 percentile with 4 month preparation with good test series and practice.

Still I enlist a number of top colleges under MAT MAY 2015

1. Christ University, Bangalore-website
2. ITM, Navi Mumbai-website
3. Alliance Business School, Bangalore -website
4. Amity Business School, Noida-website
5. IISWBM, Kolkata-website
6. EDI, Gujarat-website
7. Indian Institute of Finance-website
(Note- IISWBM is a govt institute)

All these institute charging 7-12 lacs fees except IISWBM.

So, think properly and decide, for fresher candidate, it is better to gather some work experience and then go for MBA or wait for CAT 2015 and crack top notch IIMs.
Another option is appear in Bank PO or SSC CGL exam.

SSC CGL 2015 written exam pattern

SSC CGL written exam pattern:

CGL Tier I written exam will hold on 9th and 16th of August, 2015. The pattern will be as given below,
There will be four sections:

1.Quantitative Aptitude: This section is most time consuming and tougher than IBPS PO as 40% of the questions asked from geometry and mensuration.
2.Reasoning: This section not as tough as IBPS PO.
3.English: English section is same as IBPS PO.
4.General Awareness: This section is tougher than IBPS PO as one should remember history, geography, politics, science etc. other than current affairs.

But there is an advantage in SSC CGL is no sectional cut-offs. Overall cut-off will in the range of 90- 105 for general category. Last year cut-off is 96.

There are 50 questions in each section carrying 1 mark each. Time allotted is 120 minutes.
So, 200 marks or 200 questions in 2 hours.

Ideal time should devote in every section in the exam:

Quantitative Aptitude=40 minutes
Reasoning= 35 minutes
English= 30 minutes
General Awareness= 15 minute

CGL Tier II Exam pattern:
There will be two compulsory papers as given below,
1. Paper I= Quantitative Aptitude (200 questions-100 marks-2 hours-each carrying 2 marks-negative marking of 0.50 each question)
2. Paper II= English language & comprehension( 200 marks-200 questions-each carrying 1 marks each- 0.25 negative marking each question)
3. Paper III= Statistics(100 question-200 marks-each question carrying  2 marks-0.50 negative marking)

Now all aspirants should concentrate on Tier I exam. I will upload study material as soon as possible
